Xiangyunsha's origin
Xiangyunsha, eco-antibacterial silk from sun-drenched mulberry:
1. Soak in wild-yam juice
2. Coat with river mud
3. Sun-dry & repeat
4. Cracked-gold patina & self-cleaning finish
Clean, natural and environmentally friendly,
no chemicals, only daylight, wind and patience.
Care & Maintenance
Xiangyunsha is a silk fabric dyed and finished with pure plant and minerals. Its color will naturally fade with each wash and wear, and the texture will become finer. This is a normal phenomenon and nothing to worry about.
Dry-clean
Xiangyunsha is a protein-based silk. Professional dry-cleaning is ideal. If you hand-wash, never machine-wash and avoid vigorous rubbing.
Rinsing
Use water ≤30 °C (cold or lukewarm). Add a few drops of silk detergent to the bath, immerse for 5–10 min only; do not soak overnight.
ironing
Iron only if needed: set to ≤150 °C, steam lightly, and place a pressing cloth between iron and fabric to prevent shine.
